      Increased levels of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. The most common ones in no particular order are carbon dioxide, methane, ozone, water vapour (i think).

      A layer of particular gases that reflect heat back towards earth and don’t let it escape into space. These gases are called greenhouse gases.
