Tricky one. There are so many things I would like to have seen!

If the time machine is robust enough to protect me, I’d like to go back to the end of the Cretaceous and watch the asteroid impact. Was it really as devastating as we think?

I’d like to go back to 1st-century-BC Greece and find out who really did make the Antikythera Mechanism, and what other things they made that have not survived.

I’d like to listen to the early Royal Society meetings, with all the great 17th-cventury scientists – but, as a woman, they probably wouldn’t let me in!

I’d like to see the supernova of 1006, which was so bright it could be seen in daylight and cast shadows at night.

I hasten to add, all these are *visitsMATOMO_URL I do not want to *live* in any era prior to the invention of antibiotics and anaesthetics, thank you very much!
