• Question: Is there a limit to how clever we can be?

      Yes! There is almost certainly a limit to how ‘clever’ we can be. But there is no limit to how clever the programs and the machines we built can be. As we understand complex issues like chaos, molecular biology and genetics, we can build these concepts into machines and they can work out the things we can’t process as humans.

      The limit is data. I don’t think our brains can hold the amount of data needed to have ‘limitless cleverness’. But computers certainly can (better not let them take over terminator style though…).
