      Hi Ellie,

      In modern science, people release their data onto the internet. As a consequence, there is a lot of data that is available for scientific analysis on the web.

      The reason I need such a large computer is to handle the massive amount of scientific data that is available to me. More data means that I can answer questions with more confidence, but it does mean that my calculations and my programs take longer to run.

      It also means that I can play computer games while my programs run…
