I had a great time when I went to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. It’s hot. Busy. Has great food. And there is a whole street of guitar makers!

I don’t have a favourite country. I have not been to enough different parts of countries to know the answer. Bits of America are pretty awesome but would not say I like the country per say. Munich was excellent – perhaps the best city I have been to but can not comment on the rest of Germany.

Science wise, I like Sweden. I spend a lot of time in a city called Lund. It is a lovely place.

I absolutely loved working in Japan – they have such a great work ethic and are such brilliant people.

I also love visiting Copenhagen, that’s a really nice city.

Absolute monster fan of the entire Mediterranean, sounds like a cop out as there’s like 10 countries that add up to it. But the entire area is so serene, every dish is a zazzy fish and veg thing roasted in herbs and lemon (zazzy is good), the entire place is chilled out, and always warm. Plus you can swim to your hearts content and drink wine on the balcony like its nobodys business.

Seriously I’m retiring to the South of France the moment I can.
