Everyone has their own individual learning style, and some people just take information in more efficiently in some ways than in other ways. School is tailored to teach several of the more popular learning styles, but not everyone is suited to that. There is a huuuuuuuge amount of research into learning styles and how an individual can find their personal best learning method and maximise their capacity using it. But the bottom line is: everyone is wired differently – it depends how your brain works.
